Kraftwerk - The Man Machine

The albums listed here are the cream of the crop, and for me define 80's Synthpop and any later derivations of

Of course there are many superb Synthpop 'singles' from this era which are also exceptional but this list is for albums 'as a whole' and as such I believe contain pretty much 100% class thoughout - no fillers

These albums aren't riding on one hit to get them on this list. The fact that many of them have released several singles from the albums is a testament to their overall strength

To choose three albums as my favourites from this list is almost impossible. They are steeped in nostalgia for me and it's almost joint first for all!

I suppose 'The Man Machine',  'A Broken Frame' and 'DARE' would have to take it, but it hurts to leave out any of them as they are all outstanding and essential purchases for fans into this genre
